Overview

A 7-day Golden Triangle Tour with Kite Festival is designed to help you explore the major tourist cities of India. During the tour, you will get to visit Delhi, the metropolitan capital of India, which is home to a large number of historic and architectural monuments. You will also get to see the Taj Mahal in Agra, which is a symbol of love. Later, you will attend the International Kite Festival in Jaipur and participate in kite flying competitions, where kite lovers from all over the world come and participate. Additionally, you will visit the majestic forts and palaces of Jaipur, which are known for their beauty and charm.

Detail Itinerary

After you arrive at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by our tour representatives and they will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Post breakfast in the morning, visit India Gate, a monument dedicated to soldiers who fought for the country, Red Fort one of the brilliant artworks of the Mughals constructed using red sandstone by Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid constructed using red sandstones and marble alternatively and is one of the largest mosques of India. Next, pay a visit to the Lotus Temple constructed in the form of flower-shaped petals’ and Qutub Minar built after defeating the last Hindu King in Delhi reflecting Indo-Islamic architecture. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Post breakfast the tour will head towards Agra- the city of the Mughals. On reaching there check into the hotel and relax for a while. After that visit, Agra Fort lies parallel to the river Yamuna and comprises many palaces like Jahangir's Palace and Khaas Mahal. Where Shah Jahan was held prisoner by his son Aurangzeb. Next, pay a visit to Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah also known as Baby Taj due to its walls encrusted with semi-precious stones and offers stunning views of the surroundings of a lush green meadow. Next, enjoy the leisure walk at Mehtab Bagh. Return to the hotel for a night stay.

Early in the morning, enjoy the mesmerising sunrise views at Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife on the bank of River Yamuna. After the visit, return to the hotel, have your breakfast and check out, you will be transferred to Jaipur. En route, Fatehpur Sikri was built. Visit Buland Darwaza built by Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat, Diwan-e-Khas private audience hall of Akbar and Diwan-I-Aam public audience hall of Akbar reflecting a blend of Rajput and Islamic architectural style. Next pay a visit to the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti made of carved white marble, reflecting the fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture and is covered from intricate carved marble sheets “jaalis” from all sides. Continue your drive towards Jaipur. Overnight stay in the hotel.

After breakfast, a full-day excursion of Jaipur will begin with visiting Amer Fort situated on a hilltop, overlooking Maota Lake comprises many palaces like Sukh Mahal and Shila Devi Temple and enjoying an Elephant ride. The next visit will be Hawa Mahal famous for its Jharokha which was built for royal ladies, The City Palace is situated in the heart of the city comprising Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Chandra Mahal offers spectacular views of the city and Mubarak Mahal has been converted into a museum that houses attractive stuff like costumes, crowns and armoury used by the former Kings. Visit Jantar Mantar, one of the largest observatories in India. Afterwards, explore the streets and try out some shopping. Return to the hotel for a night stay.

Today you will enjoy the main attraction of the tour plan with Kite Festivals in Jaipur with the escorting tour manager who will take care of all the arrangements starting in the morning till the event winds up.
The fun of kites flooding the sky takes in the excitement and vibrant colours. Enjoy local cuisine, dancing performances and traditional music. Stay the night in Jaipur.
Come back to the hotel in the evening to enjoy the rest of the time at your leisure followed by an overnight stay.

After breakfast return to Delhi via car. Transfer to the airport so you can catch your next flight. 

Note - To celebrate Makar Sankranti, the Jaipur Kite Festival is usually held around January 14th.
